Walk The Road

Just taking a walk down the road.
All my life, Doing what I am told.
Being told that I am weird.
They listen to only what they want hear.
Living my life with people who don’t care.
Walking the course, Who said life was fair.
Wanting to be heard, yearning to break free.
There is more to life, than what your eyes can see.
Talking to someone, will they get the message.
Seeing on how I am not accepted.
I slowly move to my destination.
Will it be the same? Going to a different place.
People’s words hurt than the scars on my face.
A person mind and heart are one.
Holding it close to you, make sure it doesn’t run.
For the road ahead is long
Stop repeating yourself and correct what is wrong.
At the end, there is nowhere to go.
Looking back at life, my body feels slow.
Falling down on a patch of grass.
Turning over I look and I see a cat.
That is most amazing thing I see.
Don’t give up on yourself, follow your dreams.
