Wats In My Head

Break away from the bad .
Life is far from being sad.
Parents that yell and scream.
Why are people so mean.
Do the kids meaning anything.
Not knowing the potential they bring.
Why do i get blamed for things
i didn't do.
Being used like a screw.
Twisting me until all the life is gone
All i can do is get out and run.
Leaving it all behind.
Turning to someone kind.
Give you something to eat.
some clothes to keep you warm.
I look for God.
with a silent nod i find him.
I am not a loser with no dream
That dream is more than what it seems.
I feel that warmth from the cat.
The squirrel is happy on his back.
Grinning and squeaking.
Jumping and singing.
It fun to imagine what lies ahead
Be yourself and keep your head cool.

Summer is Over
School begins again.
Time go back and see friends.
New people and new faces.
All Meeting at that familiar place.
College is the next step.
Not looking back wondering what's next.
Will things be the same.
Will my head be hung in shame.
Who know what tomorrow is .
Just will have to the best of it.
Classes are no longer easy.
Stomach feels Queasy.
We go on .
Remembering How far we come.
How much we sacrifice.
To come to know ourselves.
and to remember the good and nothing else.
